The Story

Bill Wyman recorded the bass for "Miss You" using his Fender Precision Bass through an Ampeg SVT amplifier at Electric Lady Studios in New York. The signal chain included a Neumann U47 microphone positioned a few feet from the cabinet, combined with a direct input signal, and compression from a Urei 1176. The production was handled by The Glimmer Twins (Mick Jagger and Keith Richards) with engineering by Bob Clearmountain.
